how can i send e-mails again?

I have tried to send three email today. But they will not be sent. Message I get is SMTP server unavailable. This has happened before but on retrying they have gone. But not this time. And I cannot seem to contact BT. Can anybody help me ?

Have you looked at your accounts to be sure you have specified an SMTP server in properties?
