My child touched our TV screen with a magnet. Can it be fixed?
Our child touched our TV screen with a speaker magnet. Now we have a purple spot in the middle of the screen. Can this be mended or remedied? Is our TV toast? It's a Toshiba Model 27A41.
It may fix its self over a period of time. You can help by switching it off at the switch on the TV rather than putting it into standby with the remote. If it doesn't get better over time, you need a new TV.
