triton T80si shower cover is getting hot on top?

my triton t80si shower is working normally but the top of the cover gets extremely hot any ideas as to why

Thanks toptrish I will investigate but it could be time to replace the unit, old age gets you in the end.

Get it checked pronto,there will be a cable or connection burning up.I guarantee it will fail before long.If you keep using it the top will warp to the point that you will have to replace the whole shower
