Hotpoint Aquarius shower?

My shower keep tripping and cuts out I have to reset the trip switch also gets too hot was at 6 now at 2. Has it had its day

you need to get somebody out to look at it, if its tripping the power , dont use it, its not safe, find out what the problem is first, it might be small or big , but find out,,
