Hotpoint Aquarius 1000 De Luxe WM 22 - doesn't rinse/spin?

After the cycle the clothes are still pretty wet and not very clean - the drum doesn't seemed to have spun during the wash, and certainly not through the spin? Is there anything that we can do to resolve this ourselves?

most properly your motor brushes are worn out remove then and check the length

hi take the pump & bottom hose off and clean them out
