My Goomans LD3265D1 tv won't come off of stand by there is a split second of static screen then it goes straight back onto stand by,
the stand by light flashes 8 times at half brightness then goes back to full brightness on stand by.

I had found that at the top of the main board in the centre behind two transistors there are two green capacitors 15uf 1000v working 1" x 1/4 had gone dry jointed, I just re soldered them, and hay presto all working once again, please make sure to mains plug is out. You will find a load of screws to get the back off. Lay the TV flat on a towel or blanked on the screen facing down, on a table, or you will get Bach ache.
