Alternator ;ight?

Hi I have a 53 plate Vauxhall vivario and ive just had a new turbo fitted on this. \since doing this my alternator light comes on at 2500-3000rpm checked alternator and its charging why does light come on anyone know why thank you

Have you checked that it's not overcharging?
what's the voltage reading at 2000-3000?
anything above say 14.5 v will make the light come on.
