replacement door coupler Hoover VHC 381 - 80?

I have a Hoover VHC 381 - 80 Dryer which has a faulty door coupler as the door fails to latch and shut and operate properly. I cannot see how to access this part easily to replace without a strip out as is inside the front panel. Any help here would be great!!
