murphy richards generator iron Elite 42220 how to fix ?

I have a the murphy richards generator iron 42220
which will steam when ironing then after about 15mins
all lights go out and the iron stops working it is just out of the guarantee has anyone any ideas on how to
fix or shall I bin it.
