Screen continues to say 'No signal' Have also tried a portable aerial which works on another TV but the connection does not help - still displays 'No signal' Anyone with the same problem?

John - you do not say the make and model but no big deal...

Modern sets can process signals from various input sources - you usually have to tell the set which signal to process - it may be that you've forgotten to do that and the default input (whatever it may be set to) is really not seeing a signal.
