your startor has a solinoide on top it sends the power down to your motor brushes to turn the engine over brushs go and points in solidnoide alawaysdis connect neg first reconnect last ok

first disconect battery,jack up front of car, remove the two wires conected to the solenoid ,one is secured by a 10 mm nut & the other is a 13 mm nut .then remove the three bolts that secure the starter to the engine block. re-fitting is same but reverse
