no external temperature on mfd peugeot 206 1.4 zest 54 reg?

54 reg Peugeot zest 1.4 petrol doesn't show external temperature bulbs were dim on the 3 bulb MFD so changed them still no temperature showing has any one got any ideas as I was think it might be the sensor but not sure where that is. Thanks

It is in the near side door mirror housing on our 206cc. You can tell where it is because there is like a "drip" in the moulding at the bottom.
