tefal gv8975 steam generator?

We have a GV8975 Steam generator purchased back in May 2013..and the ( Smart Technology X-Pert button has stopped functioning with it being permanently stuck on Synthetic..

Any solutions or similar issues?

Hi my tefal steam generator iron is releasing alot of water and no steam. It seems as though the steam holes are blocked. I've cleaned out the water part but still no luck and my guarantee has finished recently.
