Nissan Almera does not start?

I have a nissan almera 2006, it does not start, the engine just cranks. Checked it and there is no power in fuel pump even in the fuel pump relay. Fuse is ok. Checked for loosen wires, all seems ok. I think it can be the 2x camshaft censers but i am not sure. Any ideas?

I know nothing much about motor vehicles but you report no electrical power at the fuel pump - this means there is a shortage of fuel and this is probably why the engine does not fire.

A defective camshaft sensor is unlikely to cause there to be no power at the fuel pump.

From what you say either the fuel pump relay is defective or another relay or switch that provides power to the fuel relay is failing. - Or you have run out of fuel.

I am not a motor engineer - I just guess.

Good Luck..., March 2016
