How can I remove L2 from the display screen on my DVD recorder? I cannot ge?

Unfortunately, I put the wrong aerial into the recorder and now L2 is on the display. L2 is only used when connecting other equipment. Because of that I cannot access 'Guide' to record programmes
My recorder is a Sony DVD Recorder RDR-DC100 and is six years old
