New Whipper Snipper Idle/Run/Carb issue!?

I have a brand new 2 stroke Whipper Snipper being a MTD SMART BC 33 which is a French brand 33cc 1.05kw engine.

The engine started almost instantly with the Choke on after a few pulls without it. The engine idles and cable spins just fine with the Choke still on.

After a few minutes of idle and use, turning the Choke off shuts down the machine. I let it idle a bit more till I was sure the engine was warm with the same result.

After thinking a little i checked the manual for the Carburetor details and position. It only said turn till idle revs are correct.

After turning and turning and turning for quite some time i found only a small 45 degree position that would keep the machine running idle without the choke, the idle sound was good and it started without the choke.

But now when you pull the trigger to spin the cable the head just does not turn at all and often just shuts down.

The fuel mixture is correct i can say that much, the engine runs perfectly fine with the Choke 90% turned off just not at all when its 100% off.

I have moved the choke a hundred times a millimeter or less at a time and still can not find any position that works. I have to tighten from the initial position it was originally as loosening just doesn't give it enough RPM to keep the motor going.

Any suggestions what to do or if this sounds normal? The manual literally just says anything related to turning the Carb, take it to a specialist which to me just sounds outrageous.

I really don't want to be that guy who returns his Whipper Snipper cause he cant turn a screw.

Thanks
