freezing of subtitles during viewing?

During viewing on my Toshiba 26DL833B the subtitles freeze. The only way I can get them to display properly is to turn the set off and on again. They do not always continue to display properly but freeze again. Very frustrating. Any suggestions to rectify this problem?

I am using a logic 32inch led tv. However, when I switch it on it goes off unless a click on the menu. I will be grateful if you can help me with the cause
and the solution

Your TV set has a warm-up fault in the section of the electronics that processes the subtitle feature.

A trip to a TV doctor might be able to find and cure the problem - the technician alternatively cooling and then warming sections of the circuitry to eliminate and induce the fault condition to hunt down the offending component.

This would likely be a costly repair. Although the repair engineer might be able to zero-in on the fault quickly.

Your other alternative is a new set.
There is very probably nothing you can do to fix it yourself.
