by mistake i d/l norton --already had avast --then i uninstalled norton -but seems some 'bits' are left -where can i find them to get rid of --
using wdws 7 pro
After that, launch a search for norton then symantec. Delete any folder that come up.
Run CCleaner's registry cleaner to remove what may be left.

Google," Norton Removal Tool "from Symantec Corporation it was free if it is still available,I used it and it removed all traces of Norton, it has to be removed fully or it will pop up all the time.
