I was given this Vintage saw( company went out of business) from my Father-in law who is 90. He took it apart to change the cord, but couldn't remember how the wires went to the switch, I've tried everything, there are a black and a blue wire off the motor, the white, black and the ground on the cord, and then there are three about 4" wire that where also hooked to the switch how does it get hooked up? I'm stomped

e-bay US has one of these on offer for $24:47 - no blade.

The three wires that confuse you might be (I guess) to do with dynamic breaking - to stop the blade as soon as the trigger is released.
