About 1 hour into a DVD the picture freezes as if it were paused, then after a few seconds starts up again. This goes on 2-3 times then the movie stops completely. I turn the entire sysytem off for a while then restart and again this occurs. I have tried a lense cleaner to no avail. Please help!!!!

It is either a dirty DVD or the DVD laser failing. We have 2 of the exact same models. Try washing the DVD with light soapy water & dry with a tisue. Washing the DVD solved alot of problems. In the end the laser failed on both units.
