daf 85 fast idle?

my 03 daf 85 when i start it idels fast about quarter throttle the engine warning light is on yellow,sometimes goes off and it pulls finee. if i jump to gears to choke it it then pulls like a train? any help would be greatfull theres no daff dealer near me
