done
K-seal < a coolant additive that can give a temporary or lasting fix on weepy gaskets, designed for the K series engine with pourus head problems.
Get a compression test done, tester fits into either spark plug/glowplug hole. Its the only way to give an accurate diagnosis of a head gasket issue, there are many causes of overheating, waterpump failure, thermostat broken or missing, blocked radiator to name a few.....

all as above. one otherthing if it runs for a wile before it boils up check to see if cooling fan is cutting in

Hard to say but if your thermostat is opening ok,water pump circulating water ok,no blockages in your radiator and fins clear with the expansion tank cap on if there is a lot of pressure there within a short period of time then yes it could be a gasket problem. There is a new product out which I tried on a Vauxhall and Peugeot which were pressurising the systems and losing water over a period of time, sorry can`t remember it`s right name but it was about £40,you add it to the coolant and let it tick over for an hour, let it cool and there was no pressure in those systems then and the motors have been fine since,it may be worth a go if you don`t want to remove heads etc. Good luck.
