vauxhall mevira life 1.7 cdti 2004 wont fire up?

hiya ive been using my car most the day fine when this evening went to warm her up that was fine but when I went to fire her up it wouldn't even try to start all I got was 2 ticking noises then nothing completely dead but I tried the batteries which are both fully charged.....any one relate to this? Dash lights n interior lights central locking all working though

Hi,
Try jump leads to exclude the battery as a cause. If the car starts you need to try charging your battery or if it won't hold a charge, get a new one. Check the starter and associated relay etc for loose connections and wires (if the car didn't start).
Lastly make sure the fuse panel is moisture free, especially if you have been driving through deep puddles.
