Footwell full of water?

Is there any way you can drain the rear footwell on a Vauxhall Vectra without taking up the carpets. I have stopped the water coming in. Is it just a case of waiting till it dries out?

Drill a small hole in the floor, allow the water to drain off, then reseal the hole with some sealant, and cover it with the carpet.
Just be careful there's no brake pipes underneath!

Dehumidifier is the best. Remember to close all doors and windows.
Cheers now

And ventilate the vehicle - doors and windows open whenever possible.

Can you borrow a wet & dry vacuum?
