my television is displaying the locked key and we cannot turn the volume up or retune the television. unfortunately we do not have the original television remote to try to solve the problem is there another way.... please help

I have a similar issue with the CT5122T. The child (and/or tuning) lock timer appears to have been set (time displays in green in the top righthand side of the TV screen with a clock symbol to its right). We do not have the original remote control, and therefore are unable to get to the Main Menu (the buttons below the TV screen do not function and there is no equivalent button on our remote control for "Menu Select". Any ideas what we can do? As a last resort, is there any way to restore the TV back to its original configuration from the factory?

Volume Lock:
While pressing Volume up or down on the [TV], press "-/--" on the [Remote Control].

Tuning/Child Lock:
1. Select Main Menu.
2. Press 4, for Tuning Menu.
3. Press 5, for Store Menu.
4. Hold down key "1" until OSD white key disappears from top right corner.
