Qualcast hover mower?

My wife went through the cable on day 1 of using it.
Is this easily repaired? It is the cable that is attached to the mower, not the other type that just pulls out.

Go to B and Q get a cable joint or a inline plug and socket then rewired it.
Then next time you can repear straight away.

Someone competent should be able to shorten the cable and re-terminate, or fit a new cable if necessary.
