start switch problem?

Have Morphy richards supervac 732005 cordless vacuum problem with on switch have to keep holding it down for it to start once start all ok so battery is fine.

I have a cordless vac for 18 monthes and it has started to work intermittently then stop !!
unable to get to the brushes for the immovable battery pack!!!
assuming its another " timed to go burn out " morphy richards
