I bought a Sanyo DVR-V100E recorder. It plays videos and DVDs it even records from DVD to video. The problem is when I put a blank DVD disc in it reads No Disc
I have tried 5 different types of DVD,s including the ones that came with the machine. They are recommended in the manual. So what else can it be.

Are you using the correct type of disc? There are several different types. Check the manual (download one if you need - I'm sure you don't need to be told how to use a search engine).
