How can I restore my pictures??

My Sandisk 256mb is not working it was i have like 300 pics on it and some very important ones. The gold part where it reads the info on the card is all scratched up. Is there anyway to fix this problem??

Hello Ashley, you might try restoring the electrical connections with a conductive ink pen. Silver works best. It must be real silver, not silver colour. These pens are used to do spot repairs on circuit boards, and should be available from places that sell electronic components to industry and hobbyists. You could also try your card in a number of different reader devices in case one of them can "make contact" with your card. Hope this helps.
