TV got wet, remote now not working?

My Sony Bravia got wet and now the remote will not connect to the tv. Otherwise the tv is working fine, once it dried out. Does anyone know what the fix is, to get the remote working? Sony Bravia TV

Is the remote itself actually working? Easy enough to test with a mobile phone camera. Just use the camera to view the business end of the remote and press a button. You should see the LED flickering in the end of the remote.

It's either still wet in places - maybe underneath some ICs - or you've damaged something by powering it on while it was wet and the PCB tracks have been corroded away by electrolytic action.
