I have a W reg Fiat seicento , and only recently when i satrt the engine after it has been standing, it makes a spluttering noise and the car sometimes shakes as if it is choking on summat. Have to rev the engine abit to make it go. it lasts about 10 secoonds. Sometimes as well as that the engine sounds really loud - almost like a tractor, but not everytime. I have never had this problem b4. what is it?

seems like symptons of miss fire due to ht leads not connected to the spark plugs.

it could be spark plugs and HT leads need renewing. if they have been replaced the engine management system sensors need checking and only a garage ( you can trust ) can do that.
my tip...never ever ask for a full service. explain the problem your having and only have that fixed.. the word SERVICE to a garage lets them know its OK to charge daft prices for checks you can get free at most tyre / exhaust places
