volvo 480 ES enginr problem HELP?

having fitted a new water pump to my volvo 480ES I noticed oil coming from around the pulgs when the engine is running any ideas why and how to repair?????

Normally oil filler cap or rocker gasket. the oil runs down to the plugs and will sit there and rot the plug leads.
