I have a sony DVP S360 DVD player and when I put any disk in, burned or otherwise, i hear it working to read it, but only flashes "no disk" on the display. Can this be remedied with a cleaner or do I need to take it somewhere to repair it?

I just fixed mine few minutes ago :))

with more links on the same page. I replaced fuse with thin wire and it works now but I have plans to fix it further by replacing it with proper fuse and also recomended resistors to prevent it from breaking again. To see location of resistors go to other links on that page.

Even though I have almost everything Sony in my house I doubt I'll buy it again.
