how can I fix my jvc 25" tv. model AV-27720?

My tv was working fine but one day all of a sudden I had no image only a blue line appear harizontally in the middle of the tv.

Sounds to me like the Vertical Output IC or possibly a coupling capacitor has gone bad.

Try replacing IC421 type LA7837.

I agree with the other answer as I had the same problem with the same model couple years ago. Took it to a repair shop and they fixed it for $75.

Sounds like frame collapse. Probably worth repairing and shouldn't be too costly but it will require the attention of a TV engineer.
