how can i fix the overflow on my triton t501 electric shower?

the overflow on my shower has water pouring out of it when its turned on. my son decicded to hold the pipe untill the water didn,t come out any more. i have made sure the pipe Isn't blocked and it all seems ok in side. ANY IDEAS

It sounds like you need a replacement PRD (pressure relief device). When your son blocked the outlet the pressure in the shower would have built up and then activated the PRD safety device.

Try the spares section of www.tritonshowers.co.uk to get a new one. I think it's under a tenner.
