I can't change Administrator password Ascentia 6000 laptop?

I bought a laptop from a friend but don't have the password for it . the computer is running in Administrator mode and won't let me change password or go on the inernet . How do I change it so that I ccan operate?

Download a copy of the Ultimate Boot CD (search on UBCD). You can use it to change the Admin password but be careful with it you can cause enormous amounts of damage.

What Operating System are you using?
What Serive Pack if you know ?
