What is wrong with my shower? (triton T80si Pumped)?

My shower used to be very hot and have very good pressure but all of a sudden it was cold and to get to the correct temperature I have to turn i t right up to 10 which means the pressure is very low.
Does anybody know what it wrong with it and how to fix the problem?
Thanks

That sounds possible. What part do I need to replace then?
Is it the can?

I believe this to be a dual element unit and it sounds like 1 element has failed.

your lucky for 7 yrs. poss heat element on its last legs. if you have a electricians meter you can do a test on it.

Shower head is clean and the shower is roughly 7 years old.

Just to clarify, it was working fine one day then the next the heating dial needed turned up full to get any heat.
