My portable DVD isn't spinning the discs anymore. The player is barely 1 year old and has had hardly any use. The player will turn on but the screen just stays black and the disc doesn't spin. The player is made by Myron & Davis; tablet style mobile DVD player with 7" monitor; model MP007. Is it fixable? We have two other ones and they all use the same power cords. This model isn't available for purchase any more.

You could check the AV Swith on the underside. If it is at "IN" position, the dvd won't spin because it is mean to be used as a external screen for a video game device , such a game boy for example.

Hi! Not sure if this will help but we had a similar problem, then I looked closely and found that a piece of adhesive tape had moved and caused the cd to not move. Removed the stip and all was fine
