I have a fault on an ALBA TV model No CTV3309 also I would like to know wha?

TV is dead with R809 0.47R surge resistor O/C The chopper FET (2SK2750) checks out OK and I have checked all the components in the area. I suspect the chopper transformer but is there anything else it could be. There are no obvious shorts in the secondary cct of the transformer.

hi have you checked the drive to the chopper fet with a scope run a bulb in series so you can measure the current drawn too
