the engin in my westwood stall when I engage the blade but drives the tractor well what do i need to look at.

Hi Paul,
First, make sure that the blade is not obstructed by last years wet and muddy grass (now as hard as mortar!). If all is okay there, it is likely that your engine is running a little lean. Try locating the main mixture adjustment on the base of the carburettor bowl, then turning 1/4 turn anti-clockwise. Should this not work, it is likely your carburettor needs a service!
