How can I fix my 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix?

Since May 2004, I have taken my car to several auto repair shops because of a wet floorboard. This only happens on the passenger side and I have noticed it more so after a long drive on a highway and not necessarily after it has rained.

From Sept. to Dec. 2004, I drove the car over 3000 miles and it did not happen once. But just before Christmas, I noticed the wet floorboard again.

I have been assured that the A/C drain is not backed up and that there is nothing else that could be wrong. I have taken it to a family owned auto repair shop and a well-know Pontiac Dealership in Houston.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

also check to see if its happens when the heater/defroster is on and the temp switch is in the warm or hot position. If it smells like antifreeze, the heater core is leaking.

If I remember right on that model there is a recall fo a under cowl replacement ....its on the passegers side and it doesn`t go far enough to the right to stop rain water ect from going into the passenger side compartment .....or you have a water leak ..........a/c drain unclugged ......water will actually gointo blower fan and build up
