how to fix rear registration plate to Volvo 40 estate?

how to fix rear registration plate to Volvo 40 estate? the access is needed from behind because of nut & bolt fixing. How do I remove the lining to the tailgate? There are no obvious clues.

remove two screws (the only visible fixings) from tailgate's inside 'grip' and pull out the panel; it apparently clicks in..you need a bit of force - it doesn't seat in an easy way. that's it, job done, you can now fix the reg plate from behind.
