how can i reduce the engine noise 2.5 transit 1999?

had a new back box fitted but i have been used to driving a fiat ducato . ithougt i was buying a better van but i am so far dissapoited however maybe that it is quite normal

To make the engine sound quieter on a Transit you need to turn the stereo up a bit more I'm affraid.
