161 is the battery...163 is the time and date...new CMOS battery probably needed.

Your ThinkPad is losing its eetup information, prnbably due to a flat CMOS battery. If you to www.lenovo.com (Lenovo own all of IBM's PC assets now.) and download a maintenance manual you will find out how to fix it there.
