how can i fix my vauxhall vectra."R" reg?

hi, i started my car up this morning and my ABS light came on i had to drive for an hr when i arrived home the ABS light was still on have you any suggestions for me please? the car is a vauxhall vectra "R" reg 1.8 16v

it sounds like your abs sensor has gone which is situated behind the front drivers side wheel. The sensor also controls the speedometre thus no cable.
