Under win xp, select Start/Control panel/Regional and language options/From the drop down lists select the uk options/then click on apply. Then select the advanced tab and select the uk option from the drop down list and the uk option/ click apply. At this point you maybe required to insert your xp disk, and restart your pc. This solution should be similar in other versions of windows.
