how do i bypass an immobiliser on a vauxhall cavalier?

there is no spark from the coil. i have changed the coil and the ecu and still no spark. i think it is the standerd immobiliser not turning off

I know it is now 2 years since you posted your question but, A temporary fix for this problem (if you need to transport it to a garage etc.,) is to remove the hazard light switch from between the 2 vents in the centre of the dash and turn it upside down and refit it. The car should allow you to start it. I have a similar problem with a fiat punto '97 reg but this doesn't seem quite as simple anyone got any ideas?

hi mate did you have any luck bypassing the immobiliser,, ive lost my key with the chip in so wont start off the one i had cut, if the immobiliser is triggering the orange engine management light flashes when trying to start if thats any help for ya, please email keanu_kev@yahoo.com
