Whats wrong with my citroen xzara '51?

My central locking does not work, i press the buttons on my key fobb and the doors lock then unlock staight away.

I have no answer but I have the same problems. Window is going to the top and then half way down again. What I do is send it to the top stopping and starting by degrees but it's most unsettling not knowing what's going to happen next and really annoying too. Central locking doing the same as yours, plus you just wait for your indicators to refuse to turn off. Wonder what to do? Is it a particular problem of Citroen?

try opening all the doors and boot (1 at a time) and close each firmly, then try locking again. If this doesn't work you have a jammed locking mech in one of the doors making the c/locking control thinking that there is a door not closed properly. Also try a bit of wd40 around the locks and catches.
