easy shut the Phillips dvd machine off and pull the plug. wait 30 seconds. Then plug it back in and press EJECT. The disc should come out then. This recycles the machine.

personally Bob i would take it to a repair shop - i tried to do the same thing to my panasonic dvd recorder i got the disc out but cannot put it back together and repair shop wont touch it as i have taken it apart
