How do i fix my Morphy Richards steam iron model 42279?

My iron is not producing any steam no matter how long i keep my finger on the button plus I have changed the filter.

Chances are the thermal trip on the bottom of the water heater has failed. Symptoms are green ligh flashing, no steam and the iron not getting hot.

I am trying to find a replacment for one in mine with no luck so far.

Markings are T*298C 155031 301V 075B C
